Beautiful, Happy, Healthy Ocean Blue Neocaridina shrimp. These shrimp are line bred from Blue Diamonds for their unique blue color and fuller blue coverage including the legs and the rostrum
Neocaridina shrimp are the most popular type of colorful shrimp found in aquariums. Their vivid colors along with their relative ease to keep and breed make them a favorite of both new and older hobbyists.
The parameters we keep them at are approximately PH 7.0, TDS 250, GH 8-10, KH 3-6. They will survive and thrive in a wide range of water conditions. These conditions are often met by simply using your local tap water and treating with a dechlorinator.
Shrimp are peaceful scavengers that do best in tanks with only shrimp. While your fish may not actively harass/eat them, at least early on, shrimp will tend to hide when they see a fish they are unsure of overhead. Shrimp will spend most of their time foraging on the bottom of the tank, on decorations like wood and stone, and on plants and mosses. It is very important to not overfeed them as this can cause your water quality to deteriorate. Only feed them as much as they will consume in 2 hours. Any leftover food after that time should be removed.

Amazing Shrimp
I've ordered ocean blue and amano shrimp from here and they've all arrived alive and healthy! With an extra baby in each bag, sometimes an extra juvenile as well. The blues have gorgeous solid dark blue coloring. I love seeing them in my nanofish community tank!

The color of these Ocean Blue cherry shrimp is just stunning -- so intensely blue! And healthy, full-grown shrimp with a nice mix of both sexes. After the shrimp were bagged, boxed, and shipped, they were in transit for 6 days, but arrived in perfect condition. These are tough little critters!

Very blue!!
I was very curious to see how blue these shrimp would actually be. I also have a handful of blue dream in my tank, and thought I’d give them a try. They came quickly! But from the stress of shipping they were dull in color. By the next day, they had all turned a radiant blue!! Just like the photos! (Wish I could share one myself). I have dark substrate and fully planted tank, and they show up beautifully. The blue dream now look dull next to them. Thank you!
