12 beautiful Neocaridina shrimp, mixed color/pattern
Neocaridina shrimp are the most popular type of colorful shrimp found in aquariums. Their vivid colors along with their relative ease to keep and breed make them a favorite of both new and older hobbyists.
The parameters we keep them at are approximately PH 7.0, TDS 250, GH 8-10, KH 3-6. They will survive and thrive in a wide range of water conditions. These conditions are often met by simply using your local tap water and treating with a dechlorinator.
Shrimp are peaceful scavengers that do best in tanks with only shrimp. While your fish may not actively harass/eat them, at least early on, shrimp will tend to hide when they see a fish they are unsure of overhead. Shrimp will spend most of their time foraging on the bottom of the tank, on decorations like wood and stone, and on plants and mosses. It is very important to not overfeed them as this can cause your water quality to deteriorate. Only feed them as much as they will consume in 2 hours. Any leftover food after that time should be removed.

The critters arrived on-time and intact, despite the carrier's best attempt at par-boiling them! <facepalm> They arrived *HOT* (water temp was 95 °F (35 °C) after sitting in the UPS (not FedEx) truck all day (last delivery on the route that day!), but all were alive and kicking. Water params were ok other than the temp. Opened bags immediately, and floated them in the quarantine tank in a plastic cup and slowly mixed in the cooler and cleaner tank water over about a three hour period. All survived (even the 5mm baby blue!) (two weeks out from delivery at time of writing this) and are busily cleaning up the java moss and other objects from another well conditioned tank. Will definitely be a patron again! (Perhaps in cooler weather though!)

4/5 stars I ordered 12 Neocaridina Skittles mix shrimp—shipping took 3 days. All arrived alive and looked beautiful. They’ve been settling in well, though I did lose one on day two. Still, the rest are thriving, and I’d definitely buy from this breeder again.
