Beautiful, Happy, Healthy SS Grade Orange Sunkist shrimp.  

Neocaridina shrimp are the most popular type of colorful shrimp found in aquariums. Their vivid colors along with their relative ease to keep and breed make them a favorite of both new and older hobbyists.

The parameters we keep them at are approximately PH 7.0, TDS 250, GH 8-10, KH 3-6. They will survive and thrive in a wide range of water conditions. These conditions are often met by simply using your local tap water and treating with a dechlorinator.

Shrimp are peaceful scavengers that do best in tanks with only shrimp. While your fish may not actively harass/eat them, at least early on, shrimp will tend to hide when they see a fish they are unsure of overhead. Shrimp will spend most of their time foraging on the bottom of the tank, on decorations like wood and stone, and on plants and mosses. It is very important to not overfeed them as this can cause your water quality to deteriorate.   Only feed them as much as they will consume in 2 hours. Any leftover food after that time should be removed.

    Very orange shrimp!

    This was my second larger order of these shrimp. I had always been a little dubious about shrimp grading but these are the most orange shrimp I’ve ever had just like the ones in my first order. Other orange shrimp just look like yellows compared to these. They look like bright orange jelly beans in my tank, very happy and would recommend buypetshrimp to everyone looking to start a shrimp tank!

    My shrimp arrived well packaged and all alive on delivery. Really good bright orange color on them too. After I drip acclimated them for a few hours I added them to my tank and they’ve been doing very well. I also appear to received a berried female in my order. Intentional or not it’s a pleasant surprise and I’m looking forward to the babies. On an unrelated note, also got some Hi-Chew candy in my box, clearly the seller has good taste! Definitely will come back and order more shrimp in the future if I want other varieties.

    All shrimp arrived healthy and active with an additional few shrimplets in the bag. The SS Sunkist are all a beautiful deep orange color, I ordered from four companies and am most satisfied with my order from buypetshrimp.com. They had extremely fast shipping despite being across the country— I ordered on a Saturday afternoon and they were at my doorstep Monday. Would definitely buy again and recommend.
